Basis for healing today
At Christian Fellowship Church we believe that it is God’s will to heal today. The Bible tells us that the word of God is alive and active and we want to minister the life of God’s word into the bodies and souls of those who are sick or in bondage.
How you can receive prayer
Healing Rooms are held every Thursday evening from 8pm on the first floor of our Belmont Wing (access through from the Belmont Road). There is no appointment system for those attending for prayer and it will be on a ‘first come, first ministered to’ basis.
Praying For The Sick
Whenever demand arises Healing Rooms @ CFC run a two day training course for those who are interested in joining the HR team or who just want to learn more about praying effectively for the sick. The course is normally run over two consecutive Saturdays although this could be changed to four consecutive midweek evenings if necessary, subject to suitable accommodation being available to run the course. In order to measure demand, if you are interested in doing the HR training course please contact Lawrence Hiller by calling or texting 07759095642 stating your preference for either Saturday or midweek training. Lawrence can also be contacted by e-mail at healingrooms@cfc-net.org . The course is open to members from other churches.
Our affiliation with International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR)

Getting involved in the team
Healing Rooms @ CFC train individuals in the IAHR model both for the ministry and intercessory team and would welcome involvement from members of other churches who believe they are called to pray for the sick or to be intercessors in the healing ministry, subject to release by their relevant church leadership. We believe that where the body of Christ come together in unity there is a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit to heal the sick. Everyone is welcome to attend the training and subsequent selection for the ministry or intercession team is dependent on successful interview conducted by the Healing Rooms Director and a positive recommendation by the minister or pastor of the church where the individual is a member.
Details of training will be listed on this website so please check back regularly.
